Breck Speed has had over 30 years of experience in the beverage industry as an entrepreneur, business builder, and packaging supplier. As co-CEO of Emergent Beverages, his primary responsibilities include managing production for brand owners and overseeing the day-to-day operations of Emergent. Breck is past chairman and CEO of Mountain Valley Spring Company and its packaging subsidiary, Veriplas Containers. In more recent years, he founded Farmington Research, a licensed hemp processor and extract manufacturer for use in beverages. Breck holds a degree in history from Tulane University and a J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law. He served as the past chairman of the International Bottled Water Association and sits on the board of the Coalition for Adult Beverage Alternatives, a group advocating for the legalization of hemp beverages. Outside of business, Breck has been a private pilot for almost thirty years and enjoys playing events organized by the Society of Hickory Golfers.
